What is telehealth?

Telehealth is a method of delivering health care through video or phone. Dr. Rieders communicates with you through your computer, smartphone, or tablet, so you don’t have to schedule the time and transport to get to the office of Peninsula Integrative Cardiology in person. 

Dr. Riders sends you messages and documents through email or secure file exchange. In some cases, certain remote devices allow him to monitor your health in real-time regardless of his location.

What types of care can I receive through telehealth?

If the telehealth visit reveals issues best addressed in person, he’ll work with you to schedule an in-person visit or any needed tests.
